Many homeowners in Auckland South & West are eligible for FREE home insulation* under the government’s Warmer Kiwi Homes programme. It’s true - it won’t cost you a cent! There are 100% subsidies from the government, Brightr and Foundation North.

How do I qualify?
Under the Warmer Kiwi Homes programme homeowners may be eligible* for FREE insulation (ceiling and underfloor, ground vapour barriers) if:
- your home was built before 2008;
- you have a valid Community Services Card or SuperGold combo card, OR
- you own and are living in a home in a targeted area^ OR
- you have been referred by the Healthy Homes Initiative.
And yes the insulation is 100% FREE including installation costs and even a ground moisture barrier if you have a damp underfloor.

^ 80% subsidies are available to homeowners who either have a CSC card OR live in a neighbourhood targeted by the Government as being in most need (NZDI 8-10). The top up to 100% funding requires the property to be in the Foundation North focus are which are primarily the Auckland Wards of Waitakere, Whau, Franklin, Manurewa, Manukau.
