Company history

Smart Energy Solutions was formed to help kiwis get the best energy performance possible out of their home and businesses.

Smart Energy Solutions was started by Whangarei businessman Tony Snushall in 2008. Our Auckland office opened in mid-2009 and we've continued to expand our branches in many New Zealand centres. In May 2009 the company became one of the first partners of the government's EECA ENERGYWISE™ Warm Up New Zealand programme offering subsidised insulation and clean heating to homeowners. In 2013, Smart Energy Solutions became a provider in the Warm Up New Zealand: Healthy Homes programmes and has worked with many regional community funders with a joint vision to help make insulating your home more affordable.
